E'
una danza
misteriosa
che ha origini medievali
e
si riferisce ad un antico rito
pagano
celebrato nel nord Italia per
far
piovere
a
mezzanotte
di
Pentecoste.
Alcuni
nelle variazioni
di Beethoven
.e nel Capriccio di Paganini.
“ADAGIO
IN SOL MINORE
“ è composizione di TOMASO
GIOVANNI ALBINONI,
valente violinista.
Le
sue opere inoltre furono sempre considerate all'altezza di
altrettanto famosi compositori contemporanei come Corelli
e Vivaldi.
guerra mondiale
la sua composizione più famosa , l'Adagio
in sol Minore,
è stata ricostruita da Remo
Giazotto,
un musicologo milanese, nel 1945.
“AMOR
VITTORIOSO “ è
un balletto a 5 voci di GIOVANNI
GIACOMO GASTOLDI
compositore rinascimentale
all'indipendenza ed all'unità: coraggio, buona volontà, slancio e rigore
morale.
film “THE
MISSION “ (1986
) .
La
musica è stata composta, orchestrata e prodotta da ENNIO
MORRICONE,
uno dei compositori e musicisti italiani piu' famosi nell'ambito
della musica da film.
La

1986,

The
song "Schiarazula
Marazula”
was composed by GIORGIO MAINEIRO, an Italian musician who was born in
Parma in 1500 but lived many years in Friuli particularly in Udine
and in Aquileia where he served as" Choirmaster. "
It 's a mysterious dance that has medieval origins and refers to an ancient pagan ritual celebrated in northern Italy to make it rain at midnight during the day of Pentecost.
Some ancient documents indicate that in fact women and men in the country of Palazzolo used to perform this dance, singing two choirs to evoke the rain.
This song was sucessively picked up as source of inspiration by different groups and modern authors such as singer-songwriter Angelo Branduardi.

“NEL COR PIU' NON MI SENTO" is perhaps the best known among the innumerable opera arias composed by Giovanni PAISIELLO, Italian musician and composer in 1700.
It comes from the comedy for music in three acts "La Molinara" which tells about the love story of a beautiful miller. This theme was appreciated by many musicians and was immortalized in the variations of Beethoven, and in The Capriccio of Paganini.
"Adagio
in G minor"
is the composition of TOMASO GIOVANNI ALBINONI, belonging to the
Italian musician and composer of the Baroque period.
Born in Venice from a rich merchant family, he started studing violin and singing at an early age and became still young a good singer and above all, a talented violinist. His works were always considered at the height of equally famous and contemporary composers such as Corelli and Vivaldi. His instrumental music greatly attracted the attention of Johann Sebastian Bach, who wrote at least two fugues on his musical themes. He lived almost always in Venice even though there were reports of some of his trips in Europe.
Many of the works of Albinoni were lost during the Second World War, his most famous composition, the Adagio in G Minor, was reconstructed by Remo Giazotto, a musicologist from Milan, in 1945.
"AMOR VICTORIOUS" is a ballet for 5 voices written by Giovanni Giacomo GASTOLDI a Renaissance composer whose origins are from Bergamo. This kind of compositions was performed during festivities or entertainment and often the content of the text was not difficult but funny, in fact AMOR VICTORIOUS describes love as a divinity armed with bows and arrows hitting the hearts to make them fall in love. For this we must know how to defend from him as in battle!

"VA' PENSIERO” from the Nabucco. Giuseppe VERDI was an artist
able to instill in his compatriots the best feelings necessary to a nation who
aspired for independence and unity :
courage, goodwill, vigor and moral rectitude.
This enthusiasm could be aroused even by events that were not only far apart in
time from those of Italy' in the nineteenth century but were even more
dramatic.
It 's the case of the Nabucco, an opera composed by Verdi in 1842 and based on Jews' submission in captivity during the sixth century BC, when they were deported by Babylonian King Nabuccodonosor. Even if the story has a "happy ending" with the repentance and conversion of the monarch, the song which gathered an immediate success was the chorus "Va 'pensiero" sung by Jews chained, caught while they are sadly thinking to their country "so beautiful and lost." This episode perfectly reflects the historical moment that the Italians were going through at that time, still submitted to foreign powers and without national unity. The Italians Patriots recognize themselves and their feelings in the words of those Jews and drew strength and hope for their future redemption.
