WRITING LETTERS to PEN FRIENDS

Durante il mese di novembre abbiamo scritto numerose lettere agli amici francesi ed irlandesi. Di seguito e per motivi di spazio ne vengono pubblicate solo alcune.

During the last month we've been busy , with our English teachers Sandra, Gabriella and Simonetta, writing letters to friends in France and Ireland, getting to know each other. We're pleased to publish some , unfortunately not all of them...

  Hi there! How are you?

                                                      We  are Samuel and Robert from Italy.

                                                      Our favourite subject's PE (Physical Education) because it's fun.

We have P.E. in our school gymnasium or in the school yard. In  winter we go running or we get ready for spring Athletics games. We practice the long jump , high jump and running.  The gym is very big and comfortable but it has got a bad acoustic, so when we are inside it becomes a bit too noisy. But we don’t care because we love it!

Our teacher's name's Stefano Sellan. He's nice, kind and really very clever. He always suggests us new games to play. He also teaches canoeing in spring for the students who want to try. For that we use the river which flows near our school .It is called Fiume, that means River in English.

Have you ever tried canoeing? IT'S SO COOL!!!!!!

Hello friends! How are you?

We were Dalila Verardo e Alice Santin from class 3 A at scuola media in Fiume Veneto.
 At school our favourite school activities are watching films in  video rooms. In our school there are 3 video rooms. We also love making different posters especially for English:  we cut out pictures from magazines or newspapers or from card boards  and we stick them to make a poster about a special topic: We worked on Halloween or Xmas or about The Children’s rights; we also love using a lot of colours for drawing and writing on these posters. It’s a creative activity and it’s fun working in group!
We enjoy when we go to  the Information and Comunication Tecnology classroom We learn how to use programms and work on the net.

Hi, there!

 Our names are Federica and Nicola.We are in the same class at Dante Alighieri school We are in 3C class. The teachers say that we are noisy sometimes! And that’s true!But we have fun together and we like to stay in the same class.

We have a lot of subjects to study at our school: our favourite are Maths, Italian, English, German, P.E, Religion, Music and Art. In our school on Monday afternoon we’ve got very, very nice laboratories  and we can choose among  them. We can have choir, crafts, sport, films and more...

In our school there are many classrooms. We’ve got one kitchen classroom , a science classroom, an art classroom, one auditorium, two video rooms and sixteen classrooms for the students.

Hello dear European friends!

                                        We are Sara, Agatha and Lorenzo.

We’re in class 3^B. We live in Fiume Veneto and we are Italian students.

We want to describe ourselves so that you can get a general idea of our appearance.

Lorenzo is tall and of medium build, but with big shoulders.  He has got short, spiky, light brown hair, almost blond. He has got a chubby face with some spots on it, small, green eyes and a fleshy mouth.

Sara is short and of medium build. She has got curly, long, light blond hair. She’s got round blue eyes and a small mouth on a round face.

Agatha is of medium height and slim. She’s got wavy, brown hair of medium length and small, hazel eyes. Agatha has got an oval face with some cute freckles on her nose and a small mouth.

In our classroom we are 26 people, most of us live in Fiume Veneto, but four of us live in Bannia and Cimpello, two small villages not far from the school. We‘re a lively group of students and we love each other. In our class the craziest is Marco, the kindest is Agatha and the nicest is Sara. We love music, Sara likes rap, Agatha prefers pop and Lorenzo likes rock.

Hi, we are four friends of Fiume Veneto school: 

                                                      Katia,Radu, Daniele and Lauryn.

We are all 14 years old. In our free time we like to hang out with our friends, playing videogames and talking and laughing.

Katia is a nice girl, she's a bright girl. She plays volleyball, and in her free time she likes to stay with her friends. Her favourite subject is Maths because it is very difficult. Her favourite song is "Call me maybe" by Carly Rae Jepson.

Radu is a nice boy. He's very funny! He is not in a team, but he likes playing football and basket. His favourite subject is English and his favourite song is Mc Miller Smile Back….more or less.

Daniele likes laughing. He practices judo. His favourite subject is Physical Education. In his free time he likes playing with the “PlayStation”.

Lauryn is a nice girl. She dances, and in her free time she likes hanging out with her friends. Her favourite subject is Science and her favourite song is "Diamonds" by Rihanna.

In our class we are in 25: 13 girls and 12 boys. The craziest boy in the class is Bledar. He likes screaming, moving all around and making everyone laugh! =)

We are a funny and noisy class and we hope to have a lot of fun with you!

We are Nicholas and Leonardo from scuola media Dante Alighieri, in Fiume Veneto .

In our town there are 11.000 people. It’s a very good town. Its name is Fiume veneto. In Fiume Veneto there are a lot of bakeries , supermarkets , bars , gyms , schools , cinemas , churches and restaurants. It’s a nice town to live in.We like our town especuially because our friends live here. It is very easy to meet and hang around. We usually ride our bikes or go to the cinema or just go walking around town. It's fun!

Hi friends,

We are very happy to be your penpals. Our names are Sindi and Alberto.

Now, we' ll tell you of our school. It is called “Dante Alighieri” and it is in Fiume Veneto. It’ s a secondary school of first level.

It is very big and confortable. It has got a big verdant park and a very large yard where we usually play basketball or soccer at the recess. We have got an auditorium. There, we watch films, we listen to the headmaster comunications, we play and sing.

                       we are Vanessa, Mauro and Luca, we are in Dante Alighieri school. In our school there are a lot of  labs every Monday. One is about films: we watch films or part of it and we analyze it with our teacher. It is usually an interesting activity. Another nice lab is the Music lab. It is fun because there are a lot of  instruments that we can play, there a lot of students and in this lab we make a lot of friends and we learn to play, to sing and to work together.

                    We are Valentina and Giorgia from Italy.Now, we'll tell you about our favourite school subject. It's Music and our teacher's name is Mauro Martin. Music is a very cool and amazing world!

The students can play a lot of instruments, for example the keyboards, the piano, the guitars, the bass guitars, the drums and the xylophones. We play in the music classroom or in our auditorium, twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesday. What is your favourite school subject?

Our names are Nicole, Giovanna and Mariam.We are three girls  in the same class at “Dante Alighieri” school. We are in class 3^C.

In our school we study a lot of subjects. Our favourite is Italian. We have 10 hours of it a week. This subject is very funny because the teacher is very good. In our school we study Italian, Grammar, History, Geography, Maths, Science, Music, Art, Religion, P.E., English, German and Tecnology. Hi Grace!

We are Luca and Erika. What are your names? We are 13 and 12 years old and we are in the same class in our school in Fiume Veneto. We are in the 3rd grade.The name of our school is Dante Alighieri: it is called after a famous Italian Writer and poet. He wrote The Divine Comedy. This work was translated in all the languages in the world... probably you have heard of it!

Our school is big, there are 380 students and 36 teachers. In our class there are 26 students: 13 boys and 13 girls; we have got 9 teachers. How many students are there in your class? Have you got classes or do the teachers have their own classrooms? We don’t have the American School system. We’d like to have it. It would be easier and challenging! What do you think?

In our school we study History, Maths, Music, English, German or French, Italian, P.E., Religion, Tecnology and Art. Students love music most! What subjects do you study in your school?
