Penultimo
giorno: colazione in hotel e poi veloci a scuola, altre prove ci aspettano! Per
pranzo siamo andati a mangiare in mensa …. È tutto così diverso in Francia.
whistle. Un concerto fantastico la cui riuscita
era dovuta all’impegno comune, al collaborare tutti insieme e all’eccellente
organizzazione.

Preparati i bagagli e fatta
Salutati i nostri amici, siamo saliti in
autobus per il viaggio di ritorno. È stata veramente un’esperienza bellissima.
Momenti stupendi.
Ciao FRANCIA, ITALIA stiamo arrivando … Milena
FRANCE
We leaved from the Middle School of Fiume Veneto on November 5th at 7:30 am. We were fifteen classmates, happy and excited. I cannot fairly explain the strong feelings in my heart at that moment. I was with my friends and I was going alone to a foreign country, without my parents! I knew there was a lot of time travelling, but I was confident that it would have passed quickly. Between laughs, jokes, gossip and songs we came to the Frejus tunnel.... 'Here we are guys, finally in France!' When we passed the tunnel we were more than thrilled, already imagining how much fun we might have with our “not really perfect English". At eight o’clock in the evening we arrived in Lyon, we unloaded the luggage in the assigned rooms and then we had a speedy dinner at a restaurant called ' Hippopotamus '. Afterward we walked back to the hotel where we had a deserved and pleasant hot shower. Not to say that only after a lot 'of hours we felt sleeping at all!

The next morning, after breakfast, we headed to the college Pierre Valdo where the French students greeted us with great enthusiasm, just a little time for a picture and then we started rehearsing all together, the Orchestra was reunited! We shared lunch at school and then all the ' Comenius band ' went in the city center of Lyon to visit the Opera: twelve floors of stairs to see the dancers and then again down the stairs until we reached five floors below ground to observe designers and amazing costumes ....you can’t imagine how INTERESTING! Released this immense structure, still stairs going to the Amusement Park where we had a lot of fun. As soon as the evening came, through the city’s narrow and secret streets, we arrived at a place where we attended a jazz concert. Here we said goodbye to our French classmates and we went to a local restaurant. Many courses were served for dinner but not all of them, were ' engaging ' us with the same enthusiasm… Food is an evidence of different cultures! After a frantic day we returned to the hotel , needless to say we did the small hours, in fact we lost chattering , too many things to tell each other and to comment .
Penultimate day: breakfast at the hotel as usual and then quick to school, other rehearses were waiting! For lunch we ate in the cafeteria and we realized that it's quite different being a student in France! After lunch we returned to the auditorium where we started a nice activity, a music cooperative workshop. An Irish teacher held a music lesson making us playing the Irish flute called "whistle ", then we taught to the French friends an Italian song. It was just great, all the details well organized. Among several arrangements, a bit ' of anxiety began to rise in the hall, then arrived six o’ clock in the evening. We could begin the Concert on a few minutes. First of all, we, the players of the Italian school, were easily recognizable because we wore a red t-shirt with the words ' Creative Teens '. The show was about to start , we were all on the assigned seats , each with its own instrument , the tension was rising to the stars ... The presentation of the first song finally broke the ice. It was all great: all the songs had come close to perfection, those played by the European Orchestra together, those prepared by the French pupils, those who we had studied in Italy, the performance of an Irish teacher playing with his whistle some Irish tunes. It was a fantastic concert, its success was due to the joint efforts, to the cooperation and to an excellent organization. The deserved applauses ended and a buffet was offered at school.

Then another night with my class mates ... we felt like lions! You can never imagine how many laughs!
The alarm clock rang inexorably on the last morning. Just in time to prepare the luggages, later we had breakfast. Afterward we headed into the old town, where we joined our French friends for a sightseeing of the city, its great view and beautiful landscape but think on what can we miss on the last day... the stairs of course! Time passed by quickly, between music and laughter, the way we communicate and discover different cultures, it was time to return home. Greeted our French friends, we got into the bus for the return trip.
Thank you All for making this project becoming true and being so fantastic!
Bye FRANCE, ITALY’re getting back ... Milena
